Following the Holiday Christmas Festival, the SEMO Steel Drum Band performed at the DuBourg Centre under the direction of Dr. Shane Mizicko. The ensemble played seasonal music along with pieces from their classical, jazz, and Trinidad and Tobago styles, including a memorable rendition of Imagine.

Just two more weeks before the Holiday Christmas F

Just two more weeks before the Holiday Christmas Festival takes over Sainte Geneviève. Here, we’re highlighting its most famous component, the Christmas Parade, where over 140 classic cars and floats tossing candy meander through the historic downtown.

After the parade ends, head to Lions Club Park near Second and Market to have your children tell Santa and Mrs. Claus what they want for Christmas. Bring your phone or camera for photos!

The rest of the day is dedicated to concerts at different locations throughout downtown, including the beautiful Catholic, Lutheran, and Presbyterian churches. So, be sure to stop into the Ste. Genevieve Welcome Center to grab your event schedule.
