This free event is dedicated to honoring Ste. Genevieve County Union servicemen who lost their lives during the Civil War, regardless of their final resting place.

Experience a centuries-old celebration unlike anywhere else in the Midwest in one of Missouri’s oldest towns. The Ste. Geneviève French Heritage Festival brings the rich traditions of the French Creole Corridor to life through live music, storytelling, historic reenactments, frontier folk dancing, authentic cuisine, artisan demonstrations, and family-friendly activities set among the rare 18th-century architecture of historic downtown Ste. Geneviève.

This FREE to attend festival is taking place on Saturday, June 13th from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Join us for an immersive cultural experience that invites visitors near and far to celebrate the spirit, flavors, and traditions that continue to shape one of America’s most historic communities.

*Please note tickets are required to attend the Frontier French Dance (6:00-8:00 p.m.).

Around here, the biggest traffic jam you’re likely to hit is a wagon crossing the street or a toddler deciding the sidewalk is now a racetrack.

The Special Olympics came to town—igniting the entire Ste. Geneviève RII High School. Not just to watch, but to cheer, to volunteer, to run events, to show up in a way that turns a competition into a celebration.

It’s the kind of support that builds stronger community.

And the truth is—it’s not just one day.

That same spirit carries into events like Spring for Down Syndrome on June 13, led by Chip Marzuco and family, supporting the Ste. Geneviève Challenger Sports Program and the Down Syndrome Association. It shows up on the Challenger field, at the Braden and Friends all-inclusive playground, and inside Common Grounds, one of downtown’s most beloved gathering spots.

Here, inclusion isn’t a program.
